Dead Containment is a shooting game where you only control the aiming. It's inspired by on-rails shooting games found in 90's arcades, played with light guns. You use your weapons to fend off the undead as they race towards you in city locations.

Our accessibility examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Dead Containment accessibility 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Andy Robertson and updated 2 years ago.

NotesAccessibility Notes

When played with a mouse you can remap multiple buttons and use the mouse wheel to select weapons. This allows you to play the game with motion input via the gun sensors.

Collectables spin and glow in the dark for extra visibility.

The game does include some infrequent flashing and there is a notification of this at the start.

The game provides spatial audio to depict which side zombies are approaching from.
