Football Chairman Pro is a simulation strategy game about running a football (soccer) club. The game has over two million downloads for its accurate and complex simulation of running a football club. This combines with a simple and clear interface to create a game that is both approachable and engrossing.

Our accessibility examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Football Chairman Pro accessibility 2 years ago.

NotesAccessibility Notes

You can always access help about the current page if you are stuck. You can reduce the speed of matches in the Preferences to further lower the pressure of the game.

Works very well with VoiceOver. For example, when you enter the Squad tab there is a list of your team and each player’s statistics. As you scroll through each player, the information is announced with all the relevant titles. From there, you can double-tap and find even more detail about the player. Don’t be afraid to double-tap on a word that seems to just be a header. Most likely, there is a plethora of depth a mere double-tap away.

From Aaron Spelker's review, "What I love about this game is that there is a lot to keep track of and consider. I am tired of games accessible to blind players being simple, stripped-down versions of games a sighted player would play. Football Chairman Pro lets a blind player fully experience running a soccer team from the humble beginnings of a bar league up to the premier division."

Onboarding Before Play

Tutorials: There are helpful tutorials and instructions on how to play. Information is provided in a timely manner, with appropriate level of detail.

Reaction-Time Not Critical: Individual game actions don’t need quick reactions, or there are settings to lower the requirement for quick reactions.
