Play OverviewPlay Overview

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (2023) is a city adventure and parkour jumping game. Drawing on Jet Set Radio, you play self-styled crews equipped with personal booster packs and graffiti aspirations. Your aim is to get your tags and art all over each neighbourhood.

Start your own cypher and dance, paint, trick, face off with the cops and stake your claim to the extrusions and cavities of a sprawling metropolis in an alternate future set to the musical brainwaves of Hideki Naganuma.

You start by choosing a character and start exploring the three-dimensional streets. Each locale has multiple spots to paint and as you build a reputation you can challenge the local crews for the territory. To land your art when you've found a good spot you activate graffiti mode and are suspended in mid-air while you hit targets to ensure your piece shows up. Bigger spots mean more targets to hit before the timer runs out.

Along with this progression is a focus on locomotion, architecture and culture. Getting around isn't a matter of pressing a direction, but you use a unique trick system with grinding, sliding, wall-running and tricking to get around the world. You can string your tricks and graffiti into combos to increase your score. Land a combo and your score will be transformed to boost power. The more stylish you are, the more you can use this boost power to zoom through the city at top speed. Do a crazy enough combo and you'll go into Bomb Rush Mode, gaining infinite boost power.
