Play Overview
Cel Damage HD (2001) is a racing and fighting game where you drive vehicles and use weapons to hit opponents and gain the upper hand. It's a fast and furious competition that's good to play on the sofa, with quick rounds and a simple premise.
In the game, you pick and customise a vehicle and then compete in the selected mode with four other people on the same system. You drive your car, collect weapons and attack the other drivers.
There are three modes: Smack Attack, Gate Relay and Flag Rally. In Smack Attack, you gain Smack Points by attacking other players, the game ends once someone reaches a certain amount of points. Gate Relay challenges you to reach checkpoints before other players. Flag Rally, is another checkpoint challenge but you race to collect flags.
During these modes, you have access to weapons such as black holes, boxing gloves, grenades, chainsaws, baseball bats, chain guns, axes, and freeze rays. You also choose from a total of 10 characters, with 4 of those only available through unlocking them later on in the game, along with new areas.
Cell Damage HD was an enhanced version of the game in 2014 that contained new features such as life bars, a different way to unlock new items and maps.
