Play OverviewPlay Overview

Destruction AllStars (2021) is a futuristic combat-destruction sports game. You compete in teams in a destruction derby arena battle and slam into other players' cars to disable them. It's Robot Wars and Battle Bots in style complete with special weapons and spinning discs. Here though, you can also get out of the cars as a last-ditch attempt to survive.

Like Rocket League, you need to learn the mechanics of the cars as well as make use of the arena architecture and hazards. Out of the cars, Fortnite, you can attack the vehicles with special attacks, turn on additional hazards and even cling to the roofs of cars while they drive.

You score points by the size of the collisions. This means you need to keep the momentum going until you need it. Then, when you eject, you race to find a new vehicle before you are mowed down by other drivers. On foot, each character has different powers when they are in a vehicle. Again, you need to use these wisely if you are to find your way to another car and get back in the match.

The vehicles each perform differently and can trigger special offensive or defensive moves. This is a brash exuberant and full-contact sport, but the damage is limited to the cars rather than the people.

Content Rating

Rated PEGI 12 for non-realistic-looking violence towards human-like characters. This game contains depictions of non-realistic-looking violence towards human-like characters. Drivers can leave their vehicles and roam the arena on foot. This leaves them open to attacks from competitors, who may run them over or leave their own vehicles to attack them on foot. Reactions to violence are unrealistic in nature. When a character is run over by a car, their body is thrown a long distance. However, they do not let out any cries of pain and nor do they show any visible wounds. When a character is attacked by another character who has left their vehicle, they flash brightly and their body limply falls to the floor, after which they quickly respawn.

Users Interact: The game enables players to interact and communicate with each other, so may expose players to language usually associated with older rated games.

Rated for younger players in Australia. Rated Parental Guidance (PG) for Mild Themes and Violence.

Skill Level

10+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. It's also important to ensure children understand in-game purchases and have spending limits set-up. You need to be able to deal with online competitors, learn the moves and get proficient at driving. This is a game about collisions so younger players need to be keen on crashing cars and high impact impacts.
