Play Overview
Jetpack Joyride (2011) is a running, jumping and shooting game you play by just tapping the screen or button at the right time to control your jetpack. You play a scientist who runs through each of the levels and must survive and get to the end.
As well as points your aim is to travel as far as possible. Contact with any obstacle means you die and your go is over. At the end of each go you can use your spin tokens in a slot machine to gain prizes to help on the next go. You can also collect gear in the game while playing. These include vehicles like "Bad As Hog" (a chopper), "Mr Cuddles" (a mecha dragon), "Crazy Freaking Teleporter" (a teleport device), "Gravity Suit" (lathering gravity), "Profit Bird" (a bird-shaped plane which ejects banknotes), "Lil' Stomper" a mech suit, and "Wave Rider" (a jet ski).
On each run, you have three missions to try and complete as you go. Things like high-fiving (running past) scientists, avoiding coins for a set distance, flying close to zappers, or having a near miss with missiles. If you complete a mission you are awarded stars based on its difficulty.
