Overcooked! All You Can Eat (2018) is part of a series of collaborative cooking games for up to 4 players. You must keep talking to other players to coordinate the various elements of the dishes. It starts simply enough but soon gets more complicated as you prepare food in ever more fantastical locations.

They all offer a similar experience, although the second game adds new places to cook new recipes and the ability to throw food. Also, Overcooked 2 can be played online with friends and family. Overcooked! All You Can Eat is a delicious blend of Overcooked, Overcooked 2 and all DLC remastered and playable in 4K on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Our examiner, Rich Adams, first checked Overcooked! All You Can Eat 4 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 2 days ago.

This is a Communication and Sequencing game with Action, Brain Game and Traversal elements. You can play with 1 to 4 players in the same room or as a 4-player online game. Overcooked 2 and Overcooked! All You Can Eat supports online multiplayer but the original Overcooked doesn’t. There's a nice mode to reduce how many controllers you need, you can have two players use half a controller each. You can control the game with one hand using one half of the controller.

As well as the four-player in the same place cooperative play and four-player online cooperative play, you can mix and match. This means you can play with two people in one place on one system with two people in another place on their system.

7+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it’s important for parents and guardians to ensure they understand in-game purchases and have spending limits set-up. One family told us, "Overcooked is a great introduction to co-op gaming. On the easier levels, my 7-year-old loves taking charge of our strategy (who has what roles and how to coordinate our work). It's become progressively harder as she'd led our family team to figure out the best way to get our star."
