Play OverviewPlay Overview

She Remembered Caterpillars (2017) is a colour-matching puzzle game with an unusual look and emotional story to tell. Through the unsettling fungi-punk aesthetic you work out how to get your characters to the endpoint of each stage. As you do you eavesdrop on what appears to be one scientist’s quest to save her father.

As you progress the puzzles get more complex, involving more colours and logic challenges, while the narrative opens into a complex and intriguing tale about a daughter and her father. It works not only because of the story but by the clever way the puzzles evolve and build on what you've previously learned.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked She Remembered Caterpillars 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 7 months ago.
