Sniper Elite 5 (2022) is the latest game in the shooting simulation series that focuses on tactical third-person combat, advanced gun physics, traversal and an enhanced slow motion kill camera. With realistic environments and real-world locations, customise your character and weapon combinations to fight your way to the ideal sniping location to take on your opponent.
You play in 1944 as part of a covert US Rangers operation to weaken the Atlantikwall fortifications along the coast of Brittany. Elite marksman Karl Fairburne makes contact with the French Resistance and uncovers a secret Nazi project that threatens to end the war before the Allies can even invade Europe: Operation Kraken.
Although this is a game about shooting enemy soldiers in the head, the attention to realism and detail make this as much a historical experience as entertainment. You need patience and planning as well as a steady hand and quick reactions. Real-world locations have been captured using photogrammetry and data modelling to recreate a living, immersive environment, and multiple infiltration and extraction points.

Play Style
This is a Simulation game with Action, Fighting and Traversal elements. You can play this by yourself or as a 2-player online game. There's also an online co-operative mode for 2-4 players where you try and survive waves of enemies. There's an online competitive mode for 2-16 players.
