Play OverviewPlay Overview

Spaceland (2019) is a quick turn-based strategy game where you command sci-fi troopers to shoot, kick, blow up and destroy the enemy. It's a little like a game of chess as you equip and plan your missions, before carefully moving and attacking on your turn.

Each of your space rangers has a unique fighting style and abilities. Choose the right guns for each member of the team: assault rifles, machine guns, plasma guns or grenade launchers. Then take on varied enemies from alien animals to dangerous monsters.

Unlike other strategy games (XCOM) that start simply and then get more complex, Spaceland maintains its quick strategy format. This takes a lead from older strategy games like Laser Squad, Battle Isle or Advance Wars which means it is a great game to play when time is short.

This follows up the slightly simpler Braveland games from the same developer, that offer a turn-based strategy battle in different settings:
  • Braveland (2014) on PC, Mac, Android and iOS
  • Braveland Wizard (2014) on PC, Mac, Android and iOS
  • Braveland Pirate (2015) on PC, Mac, Android and iOS

Our examiner, Jo Robertson, first checked Spaceland 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Andy Robertson and updated 4 weeks ago.
