Play OverviewPlay Overview

Timelie (2020) is a stealth puzzle game played in a surreal world where a girl and a mysterious cat work together to escape a series of rooms patrolled by enemy robots. The novelty is that you can control and rewind time to help you solve each puzzle. This not only makes it more intriguing but also makes it more accessible.

While you play you learn about an oblique story. You control the path of the girl and cat simultaneously, in this turned-based puzzle, and must time their movements and actions to complement each other, escape detection, distract enemies, and ultimately escape the world they’re trapped in. The ability to control time lets you rewind your past mistakes and see where enemies will be in the future to plan your solutions.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Timelie 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 10 months ago.
