Play OverviewPlay Overview

Trios (2021) is a puzzle game where you select numbers and operators to get the required total. It's unusual because of its relaxed visuals and music. The twist is that you have to use all your numbers to reach the target.

Play involves using the mouse or stick to drag a connection between the two numbers and an operator. There are two modes you can play. Journey mode is a series of puzzles with escalating difficulty. Infinite mode randomly generates puzzles that adapt difficulty to how quickly you are completing them.

The result is a surprisingly zen experience and you take on the light mathematics while listening to chill tunes and watching beautiful backgrounds.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Trios 2 years ago.
