Play Overview
Wunderling (2020) is a jumping game controlled by just two buttons: jumping and boost. The levels scroll automatically so you have to think ahead to decide how to get past each section. It's a combination of time reactions and forward planning.
The twist is that you play the bad guy, trying to stop the video game hero from winning. As you progress there is treasure to collect and new moves to access like boost and wall jump. It works so well because the level design is really clever: never unfair but also intricately complex at times.
Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Wunderling 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 9 weeks ago.
