Play OverviewPlay Overview

Bam Fu (2013) is a competitive puzzle game where you must change coloured icons to match your colour by tapping them. The novelty is that you play with up to four other people on one device. Each person competes to turn the tiles to their colour. It's an unusually physical game where contact is totally part of the fun.

Play involves each player picking a colour then tapping the pebble icons to loop through the colours until they get to theirs. You have to do this on multiple pebbles in patterns and combinations that change each level. You can use multiple fingers simultaneously for additional tactics. Every so often the pebbles are locked and can't be changed, which also adds another layer of strategy. Make the majority of the pebbles your colour to win. Win five rounds to get the victory.

Physicality is a part of the competition here. You may need some ground rules over what is and isn't allowed, but the game assumes you will be in bodily contact with other players. Block arms, push hands and squeeze fingers. Act like a kung-fu master. Protect your pebbles from being snatched.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Bam Fu 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 15 months ago.
