Play Overview
DropMix (2017) is a fast-paced music-mixing game. You combine loops of well known music from a wide range of genres by placing physical cards on the DropMix peripheral. Each card you place combines with those already in play to create an automatically synthesised mix.
Along with the novel music creation, different game modes introduce collaborative and competitive action. You connect the DropMix peripheral to your iPhone, iPad or Android device running the related DropMix app. This lets you pick your modes and guides you through each game:
Whether playing on your own or with others, the aim is to quickly match the required type of card in the correct location of the DropMix deck. The DropMix Music Gaming System starter pack comes with the deck peripheral and a set of cards. You can expand the loops, riffs, breakbeats and vocals by purchasing additional cards in themed packs.
It's a really enjoyable digital board game. But what's really exciting is the way your card selections are matched for rhythm, tempo and pitch.

- Freestyle: No rules. Just create sweet mixes!
- Clash: Face off 1-on-1 or 2-on-2. Compete to control the mix!
- Party: Like the classic Go Fish card game, but played with music requests in a team trying to rack up points and beat the high score.
