Play OverviewPlay Overview

Ghostopia (2020) is a multiplayer role-play game where you own a haunted mansion. The aim is to develop, build and decorate your grand residence to attract a collection of powerful ghosts. It's a more ambitious game than others on Roblox because the company making it has financial backing.

The game is set several centuries ago in a fantasy world where a powerful necromancer invited the dead to walk amongst the living. Your mansion is located in the Shadow Realm dimension an eerie plane of existence where the living and the dead coexist.

Your aim is to make your Haunted Mansion the spookiest in town, summon ghosts to haunt your guests, and collect resources by mining and woodcutting. You can also conjure objects with magic, level up to unlock more rooms, summon more ghosts, and learn new conjuring recipes! You collect the different Ghosts so you can then summon them in-game. Each one has its own power to help you with various tasks and quests in the world.

Like a growing number of Roblox games, Ghostopia has a large team of developers. It's created by Supersocial, a new, well-funded company that aims "to create engaging games and experiences for the metaverse, starting with Roblox".

The game is in early development and plans for official launch in summer 2021.
