Play OverviewPlay Overview

Great Job Human (2019) is a running, jumping and puzzle game. You play as a robot with his companion searching for twelve ancient relics in a world made of microchips. It's an unusual mix of platforming and world manipulation. You must try not fall off the structures by using your hover boots and utilising your companion's grabbing abilities.

You use the motion controlled imp character to activate switches and pull levers, while your robot runs and jumps their way across moving obstacles while avoiding enemy creatures. You need to work out the best methods of travelling through the level while collecting the mysterious ancient relics (otherwise known as floppy disks).

Great Job Human has a whimsical sense of humour, with comedic messages when you die. The cute robot will appeal to younger players, while the puzzle elements will keep older children entertained. The only downside is that the game does not save your progress between sessions. So to complete the game you would need to finish it in a single gaming session. It is possible to complete without collecting all the relics.

Our examiner, Andrea Walney, first checked Great Job Human (Dreams) 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 23 months ago.
