In Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece you explore the world of Ancient Greece through guided tours curated by historians and classical experts. Discover Ancient Greece’s history as the game’s world evolves into a virtual museum. It includes 30 tours, led by 5 different guide characters - each covering a different theme (Philosophy, Architecture, Daily Life, War, Mythology). You can free-roam the entire map, and by taking tours and visiting sites you unlock more avatars and mounts.
Discovery Tour: Viking Age is set in Britain and Norway, around 870 AD. It sheds light on the Viking era and allows players to discover more about the history and traditions of the time. Designed in close collaboration with historians and archaeologists, this non-violent, interactive learning experience is an engaging deep dive into the Viking Age in ninth-century Norway and England. Certain "discovery sites" in-game will feature images of actual archaeological items from the collections of partnering museums in UK, France and Denmark.
The latest of these games (Viking Age) replaces the guided tours with peaceful role-playing and quests to pursue. You step into the shoes of Viking and Anglo-Saxon characters from the time, while living out their stories and adventures and interacting with the world around them.
What’s great about this educational element is that you can still run, climb, jump, ride and fly around the Assassin’s Creed world, only without any danger of violence.
