Bounden is a smartphone dance game that gets players to use their bodies. Two people hold opposite ends of one smartphone then move together to keep a cursor over the ball.
Accessibility Notes
Moving the gameplay device effects the movement of a cursor on screen.
Players are required to tap a specific point indicated on screen in order to start the game. However, players do not have have to maintain their position or hold on the device to progress through the level after this initial start. Players would maintain grasp on the device if the goal is to play the game how it was intended but this is not necessary to make progress which can be accommodating to some players who may not be able to move around as well as others.
Targets snap to the cursor once it gets close enough allowing for a more forgiving gameplay experience.
Some levels have a time limit set to complete them others have no time limit and progress can be made at the players' own pace. There is no score tracking within the levels. Unlocking the next level depends on the players' ability to complete the previous level.
The game itself is motion sickness friendly but if playing the game how it was intended performing the dance-like movements (such as spinning) could make some players motion sick.
