Chants of Sennaar is a traversal and translation puzzle where you play a traveller called to reunite the Peoples of the Tower who are unable to communicate with each other. Play involves exploring the cell-shaded world to decipher the glyph-based puzzles and build your knowledge of its language. In this way, it gets you to slowly translate these unfamiliar letters and put them together to understand how to help the people you meet.

NotesAccessibility Notes

The game automatically assists with aiming and jumping when these actions occur. There are times when you have to click on an object at the right moment, but it is not in reaction to an event.

When important elements are hidden in the scenery, a small intermittent flash of light signals their presence. Also you can press a button to display a small visual signal on all interactive elements and exits. These visual signals are different depending on whether the object/device/puzzle has already been used or not. This way, the player can always easily find out if there are things to do or places to discover in the area.

The game has been designed in black and white, to ensure it has the maximum contrast and readability.
