Corrypt is a role-playing puzzle game where you collect items and interact with characters in a maze filled with moveable boxes. In a novel twist, you can push and pull the boxes, but they stick to you, making it a challenge to move them out of the way so you can progress. It's this unique game mechanic, paired with several Zelda-like puzzle rooms and no enemies whatsoever that make Corrypt a unique offering.

Our accessibility examiner, Ben Kendall, first checked Corrypt accessibility 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Andy Robertson and updated 2 years ago.

NotesAccessibility Notes

There aren't any difficulty settings, and some of the puzzles are very difficult. If you make a mistake, you can undo it for a second attempt by going back to your last save point. The game lets you figure out the mechanics on your own, at your own pace, but this comes at the expense of tutorials.

While the text is very large and high contrast, it is quite pixellated, so can sometimes be hard to read.

Some creatures are only distinguishable by colour, which is important to note for colourblind players, and the game can be played in full with no sound.
