Fruit Ninja is a game where an array of brightly coloured fruit fly into the screen area and you need to slice each piece in two before it falls to the floor. The technicolour action combines with simple interactive taps and swipes to make it accessible to all ages.

NotesAccessibility Notes

As there are lots of different versions for the different platforms, some controls will differ.

There is a zen mode, which allows removes bombs, which normally end your run, but only lasts 90 seconds per run. This mode acts as the easiest difficulty. There is also a mode called arcade mode, which features bombs but they only deduct points.

You use the Kinect camera to control the slices on the Xbox version and the Move controllers with the PSVR headset on the Playstation version. On the mobile version, you swipe the screen, and you can use multiple fingers to swipe in multiple locations at once.

There are occasions that the screen gets very hectic and full of objects, but they all contrast each other well and the background is a solid brown colour. On the Kinect camera version, it can be quite hard to see where you are as your shadow on the background can appear quite faint.

As all the information is conveyed visually, it can be played without sound with no significant loss of immersion.
