Goodbye Volcano High is a high school coming-of-age adventure set in a world of anthropomorphic dinosaur characters. You play as band members, non-binary Fang and best friend Trish as they navigate the last days of high school. It's a mix of making choices about conversations, rhythm challenges and dealing with the ongoing drama of growing up.

NotesAccessibility Notes

You can enable Generous Timing to reduce the pressure of the rhythm action elements of the game. You can also adjust the opacity for the rhythm action indicators. This aspect of play requires the holding of a direction and pressing a button.

You can also select Slow Dialogue Mode. You can also opt for Autoplay of subtitles. You can turn on Coloured Names for subtitles, as well as adjust the Opacity and Subtitle Colour. Subtitles offer a graphical indication of the emotions that go with each response - fire behind angry ones, sparkles behind excited ones, split-in-half boxes behind disconnecting ones.

There's an Affinity map where you can check on the relationships with different characters.

Although the majority of the game is voiced, there is a section where you are playing a game within the game. In this section, the dialogue is not fully voiced. Text messaged and forum notices are also not voiced.

Some text within the text message chat function is significantly smaller and harder to read.
