Just Shapes & Beats is a two player rhythm game where you dodge bullets in time with the music. As well as this unusual premise, play extends the novelty as you have to both avoid the various shapes and move to the Beats. It’s a new spin on the shoot 'em up arcade game. It's tough and you fail often but as you practice progress becomes more likely.

NotesAccessibility Notes

There's a casual mode that gives you double the number of lives before you die for Story mode only. There's a Hardcore mode that introduces more hazards. You can't use the casual mode in challenge mode.

There is a One-Hand mode that lets you use the Right Stick for movement and triggers for dashing. You can also navigate menus in One-hand mode using triggers and stick clicks.

For practice you can play in Playlist mode with the songs you have already unlocked. To play for fun only, Party mode lets you play without consequences for dying.
