Loop Hero is a dungeon exploring adventure game where you use cards to create a world for your character to survive. Rather than control the hero yourself, you take the role of designer (or Dungeon Master) who use cards to create a world that is hard enough to be rewarding without killing your hero character. This combination of card game, dungeon exploration and repeating adventure makes it unique and intriguing to play. Carcassonne meets Skyrim with pixilated Commodore 64 visuals.

You can select pixel fonts, high resolution fonts and dyslexia-friendly fonts. When you hover over an enemy or item you get advice and information on what they are and their stats.

You can select to automatically pauses if you are selecting armour or placing cards. You can also select to automatically pause after each loop. This lets you play the game without a time pressure.

You do need to click and hold the mouse button to place cards on the map.
