Lost Ark is an online role-play fighting game set in the mystical realm of Akrasia. You work alone or in teams to fight enemies, complete dungeons and upgrade your characters. It combines Lord of the Rings (and Indiana Jones) fantasy adventures with hero-led battles and a vast array or gear and upgrades to collect. There are other similar games, but this stands out for requiring a combination of skill, practice, persistence and collaboration with other players.
Accessibility Notes
There are no difficulty settings, and many areas of the game can be very difficult, requiring precise, rapid button presses or holding down buttons. You can use aim assistance, but there are still a great many controls to use.
There is an expansive amount of information that needs to be conveyed in menus, inventory screens and other such areas, which can be overwhelming to new players.
You can add an outline to your player, but not to anything else. You can also adjust the size of the HUD, the opacity of the map, the size and colour of your mouse pointer and more. Lots of the text, however, is very small and of low contrast.
