Nanotale - Typing Chronicles is an adventure game where you type to progress through a magical planet on the brink of extinction. You play as Rosalind, a novice Archivist, on a journey to study and catalogue the mysteries of the dying planet. Your goal is to gather rock & plant samples for your experiments while avoiding the dangers of hostile animals. You can talk to local villagers, battle enemies and solve puzzles to learn more about what is going on.

NotesAccessibility Notes

The game is played with the keyboard and no mouse is required. There is a time break option that allows you to slow the game world to work through typing or moving Rosalind to safety. There is an option to allow for different health regeneration speeds; none (default), slow, and fast. There is an adaptive difficulty option or the setting can be turned off and a fixed difficulty can be set by the words per minute typing speed.

There is the option for OpenDislexic font. Most text is large white text with a black background but there is no option to change the font size or background opacity. The game uses magic to defeat enemies and there is no blood or gore shown. There is no punishment for misspellings or incorrectly trying.
