Paper Animal RPG offers a difficulty settings:
  • Classic Mode: Default settings.
  • Casual Mode: More healing items, more hit points, no traps and slower enemies. Some achievements are not unlock-able in Casual Mode.
  • Tournament Mode: You compete with other players for an online high score on the same map and with the same generation settings.

There is comprehensive tutorials. There are also explanations with animations about all the things you can do in the game. You can access these at any time.
