Potion Permit is an adventure game about a chemist working to help village inhabitants get better from various ailments. You explore the world for ingredients and craft medicine by completing puzzles and mini-games. It stands out for the tension it expresses between superstition and science, along with the expansive world and charming people you meet within it.

NotesAccessibility Notes

You often need to press buttons quickly, such as when diagnosing a patient, and can only choose from two keyboard presets for controls, and cannot change button layouts on a controller at all.

The text in the game is high contrast and fairly large, but not 1/20th of the screen, and there is no way to change its size. when speaking to a different character, their name appears in a speech bubble, and before/after they finish talking, an emoji-style facial expression clearly denotes their tone.
