Sniper Elite 5 is the latest game in the shooting simulation series that focuses on tactical third-person combat, advanced gun physics, traversal and an enhanced slow motion kill camera. NotesAccessibility Notes

In the campaign you can select Difficulty and also extensively adjust various aspects of the simulation gameplay. You can also adjust enemy awareness of your presence and other deeper settings. In competitive mode the difficulty settings not available. There are on-demand Tutorials and options to adjust frequency.

There are toggles for automatic run, traverse and climb to remove held inputs for navigation. There is also an aim toggle and a toggle for the radial menu which further reduces held inputs and removes the need for simultaneous inputs.

There's an an Aim Assist that makes targeting enemies easier. The Empty Lung ability is always available and enables you to slow time while scoping in to aim. It can only be used for a limited time, but you can just wait for it to recharge.

When in Focus Mode the visuals go black and white and highlight nearby enemies and key objects. This, along with tagging enemies, aids visual identification of where enemies are and what strategy to take. You can't run or shoot in Focus Mode.

You can adjust the size of Menu text and some Head Up Display text, although this only makes a minor difference. You can also adjust the Colour and Background Opacity of text as well as other game elements. Specifically, you adjust the colour of the enemy Marker Tags that are useful for the stealth system.

Vibration is used to indicate when you are hit, along with visual and audible feedback. Vibration also mirrors audio when "Sound Mask" sounds in the game that mean you can shoot without being heard. You can turn off X-Ray vision of kills and Kill Cameras to reduce the level of gore. However, the game will still include blood and injury detail.

3 gamepad control presets are available, each with a Left-Handed variants, but there's not full button remapping on gamepads. There are separate sensitivity settings for Look, Scope and Ironsights.
