Super Sami Roll is a rolling and jumping game where you explore a 3D world made of platforms. You play Sami, a green dinosaur on a mission to save his friend. Like Super Monkey Ball you steer and roll around, but you can also use your tongue as a grappling hook. It's a unique way to revisit a classic 3D platform style of game with new twists and cartoon visuals.

You can select the difficulty from the pause menu, and the easiest difficulty has no time constraints on the levels, allowing you to take all the time you need. The hardest difficulty has no checkpoints in the levels.

while all of the text is high contrast, some of it is very small, making it difficult to read.

The levels are designed to be fairly linear, making it difficult to get lost, but there are occasions on some levels where it can be difficult to spot where to go next.
