Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a fantasy shooting game with some light role-playing elements. It's a spin-off to the Borderlands series but stands out for it's playful use of Dungeons & Dragons culture and suitability for younger players. This takes the violence in a milder, less realistic direction, so the game is more suitable for older teenagers.

NotesAccessibility Notes

Many actions that are typically holds can be changed so that they are toggles instead, but to cast certain spells you still need to hold a button. Although you can enable aim assist, you still need quick and accurate reflexes and reactions.

The game automatically saves every several seconds, so you never lose much progress at all if you die.

You can change the difficulty at any time, with lowering difficulty taking effect immediately and raising it taking effect after the end of the current section.

There is a lot of text in the game, which can occasionally become overwhelming. Although it tends to be high in contrast, it is often also very small and subsequently hard to read. Subtitles don't always appear and don't cover speaker's tone, but when they do, you can adjust their size to make them larger. However, due to the amount of text in a segment sometimes being very large, the size of the subtitles isn't always the same, so isn't always over 1/20th the height of the screen. You can also enable captioning of important environmental sounds.

Although there are subtitles/captions, due to the chaotic nature of the game, it can be hard to read them and focus on the action simultaneously, so sound is very helpful for playing.

You can change the colour of the reticle colour for friends, enemies, and neutral characters, but beyond this, there are no colour adjustment or colourblind modes.
