You progress through 60 stages (from Finland to Sardinia, Norway, Japan and Germany) of the golden years of rallying in Career Mode with over 50 iconic cars from the 60s, 70s, 80s, Group B, Group S & Group A. You repair your vehicle in-between stages to enhance performance. Or you can simply head into the leaderboards for daily and weekly challenges.
The handling model has been overhauled from that in Absolute Drift and is much more predictable and less punishing.

8+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Although this looks like a game for really younger players, it actually requires a high level of driving skill. Thinking ahead to make the turns in a timely fashion while also using acceleration and breaking to maximise your times is no mean feat. Younger players can enjoy a less competitive approach, although this does mean they won't unlock things in the game very quickly.
Art Of Rally
Settings for driving assists (auto-steer, auto counter-steer, manual or stick transmission) mean it is more friendly to beginners while still challenging expert drivers. You can adjust the ability of other AI drivers and how much damage your car takes.
You can adjust the camera to change how large the car appears. You can also adjust the heads-up display. You can disable camera shake and roll. There is a visual display of the audio rev indication. You can control vehicle sound and music separately. Audio feedback for the level of revs of the car.
There is some small text used in the menus, but you can resize and adjust the size of this and the Head Up Display.
