Play Overview
The main focus of the game is collecting the Blox Fruits, found under trees, earned through missions or purchased from Fruit Dealers with the in-game Fragments currency. As you fight you level up your character and can adjust your stats to more strength, speed and defence. At the same time, you are working to collect enough Fragments to use the fruits that you find.
As you progress you can store the Blox Fruits you earn to create a collection. The abilities you get from these enable you to take on larger missions, often requiring you to cross the sea to get to different islands. Here you find bigger enemies and challenges that offer special fruit for more character abilities. For example, you can earn fruits from pirates raiding the Sea Castle by teaming up with other players.
The result is a game about developing your character, gaining rare fruits for special abilities and teaming up with other players to take on big enemies. Like other role-play games, there's a lot of receptive fighting to progress, but once you do that there's a lot of fun in gaining the different fruit abilities because they are so different to each other.

Skill Level
8+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. It's also important to ensure children understand in-game purchases and have spending limits set-up. Younger players need to have the skill to grasp the benefits of the different fruit and what they need to do to earn them. The fighting can be quite hectic and needs some quick reactions. Also, perseverance to get the best items in the game enables players to enjoy this more.

Blox Fruits
This game is free to play, but there are other costs associated with this game:- In-Game Purchases: Additional in-game purchases are offered for items that enhance the experience.
- In-Game Pass: Purchase a season/battle pass to gain access to limited in-game purchases, reward items and other aspects of the game.
- Trade Items In-Game: Players can trade items they have earned or purchased, with other players in the game.
Many families choose to pay for an In-Game Subscription that grants access to features and Robux currency for use in any Roblox games without the risk of individual transactions. Outside the game, you can make larger purchases.
This subscription grants 450 Robux a month as well as discounts on buying more Robux and access to selling and trading items with other subscribed Roblox players. The games generally encourage the spending of Robux to progress as a proportion of the money spent goes to the person who creates the game.
The drive to get and collect rare fruits is the way the game encourages players to spend money. It's important to understand that if buying from Blox Fruit Gatcha the cost of the fruit depends on the level of your character. However, if buying from the Blox Fruit Dealer the price doesn't vary on your level. You can also use Robux (purchased with real money) to buy fruits and get a permanent equipable version of them.
There are Passes you can buy in the game that grant you more money or special weapons. Of note is the expensive Fruit Notifier that tells the player when a fruit is in the game and how far they are from it. This costs 2700 Robux ($30/£25).
It's important to set up your accounts and devices appropriately. More information is on our Financial Resources page.
