Play OverviewPlay Overview

Circuit Superstars (2021) is a simple racing game viewed from above. Up to four players control a car and race around a complex track. You can see what's coming which makes it easier but must work with real car physics to get across the line first. What starts as a simple game soon develops into really competitive racing.

This combines arcade-style racing with more realistic tactile driving physics, which brings together a whole range of styles and eras of motorsport. As you race you need to keep an eye on car health, fuel amount and tyre wear and then pit stop at the right time.

From 60s-inspired single-seaters to modern GTs, Circuit Superstars will feature vehicles and tracks from various motorsport eras. There are 12 tracks (including dirt, tarmac and snow) and 12 different cars, with more to be added as free downloadable content. You can customise your vehicle in different colours and decals.

There are casual and seasonal ranked online multiplayer races that feed into leaderboards. The game will also prompt you during a race and tell you about friends who are beating your best lap time so you can try and beat their lap time there and then.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Circuit Superstars 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 3 weeks ago.
