City Guesser (2020) (and similar web game, Geo Guesser) is a puzzle game where you watch a short film looking for clues to discover your location. You need to pay close attention to the sights and sounds to accurately pinpoint yourself on a world map. It's a fascinating and educational way to explore and learn more about the world from the comfort of your own home.

Play involves watching and listening to a the location video to gain visual and audio clues to guess where in the world you might be. Once you have an idea, you zoom in on a map and confirm your guess. The game gives you a rating on your guess depending on how far you are away.

As you play more often your geographical skills sharpen as you begin to recognise more places in the world. If having to choose from the whole world is too daunting you can guess the location from a particular landmarks or a more specific part of the world.

It's a game that offers a window on to the world while also developing your geographical knowledge. It can be played for a long or short amount of time and is a brilliant distraction from the stresses and worries of the day.
