Play starts with you arriving at Clawfish Station, where there are 31 different fish to collect from a variety of claw machines scattered about. You operate the claw machines using your keyboard. The aim is to line up the claw with the fish below and then press a button to descend the claw and catch them. Each machine offers a slightly different challenge, such as reduced visibility or smaller fish, but all remain relatively easy.
It's a simple game that offers a novel way to relax and switch off from the outside world for an hour or so.
3+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. With simple visuals and calming atmosphere, it's a little like playing a board book. Even very young children will be able to handle the straightforward fish-catching mechanics, although moving around the world may need a little help at first.
Although there are no difficulty settings, as the game is more focused on creating a relaxing experience than on difficulty, there are minimal reaction-based challenges.
There is occasional dialogue in the game which is presented as speech bubbles, and you can choose to read all of the signs and advertisements scattered about (although these have no impact on the gameplay and are there only for extra detail). The text is often rather small and cannot be adjusted, but is high contrast.
In some of the tanks, the fish blend in with the water (this is intentional to slightly increase the challenge of the section). Other than this, the game is very bright and colourful and everything is easily distinguishable.
