OverviewOverview

Colt Canyon is a pixel-styled shooting game where you play a cowboy, whose mission is to save his kidnapped partner from the bandits and get back home. Players shoot their way through a hostile canyon using their guns and TNT. Hidden treasures and weapons can be found along the way to help survive.

The novelty is the focus on fast and accurate shooting. If you die, you have to start again but you can unlock a range of characters and weapons. Each round creates a random level with persistent elements that enable both stealth and shooting strategies.

The longer you survive the more enhancements you can unlock (by saving civilians). These range from simple improvements to health or firepower, but also can add companion partners who can follow you around and take on enemies.

Content Rating

Rated PEGI 16 for Strong Violence.

PEGI 16 with strong violence. ESRB TEEN with Blood, Violence.

In addition to the official ratings, it’s worth noting that although the graphics are pixilated, they are still graphic depictions of shooting people, dismemberment and stabbing. Bodies disappear after they are killed. You also encounter innocent people tied up or nailed into coffins. Horses, dogs and wolves attack the player and need to be shot to survive.
