Dead Containment is a shooting game where you only control the aiming. It's inspired by on-rails shooting games found in 90's arcades, played with light guns. You use your weapons to fend off the undead as they race towards you in city locations.

Play involves precisely targeting and shooting enemies so you kill them before they reach you and cause injury. It's brash and over the top like a Die Hard film. You collect items by shooting them to boost your score and gain weapons.

As you progress there are decisions over which path to take through a level, and bigger harder enemies to take on in boss encounters. You can also attempt the game in single credit mode, where your restarts are limited, for an extra challenge. There are also moments in the play where you must rescue civilians.

Although most people will play this with a mouse, the game does support Light Guns. Either way, it's a game that recreates the simple joy of only having your gun reticle between you and the zombie hoard.

Not yet rated. Expected to be PEGI 16 and ESRB TEEN. Although the violence is stylised and cartoony, there are still splashes of blood and decapitation and dismemberment. Enemies disappear when they die, which makes the violence less impactful. There are dead and dismembered bodies in the environment.
