Play OverviewPlay Overview

Disney Kingdomania (2022) is a traversal board game where Disney characters are trying to patch up glitches and save their video game world. You move your character around the tile-based world using their special abilities to stop the Glitch tokens from getting to the middle. It is a game of balance, where you sparingly use rechargeable powers to push back the Glitches back while also fixing the world to get around easier.

You play as one of forty collectable Disney figures, each with special abilities. They are trapped in an 8-bit video game and must explore the tile-based levels to undo the deadly game glitches by getting two Patch tokens to the centre before the two Glitch tokens get there. Each go, you choose either offensive or defensive actions to either push the Patch tokens forward or push the Glitch tokens away from the central space.

As you progress, you unlock other characters and special items and can use their abilities to help you complete your challenge. But you must be sparing as your abilities must be re-charged in the middle before they can be used again. Ultimately, you either win by getting the two Patch tiles to the centre or lose when the two Glitch tokens do the same. If you are playing with others, you can warp between their levels and yours to help each other to win.

This is a game of balance, where you must plan out attacking and defensive moves carefully to succeed. Spend too many moves on pushing the patches forward and the glitches may slip past you, causing you to lose.
