Overview
Each round one player is the Storyteller and secretly chooses one of the 6 Picture cards from her hand. They give a sentence clue and the other players secretly pick Picture cards from their hands that best match the clue. The cards are then all placed in the middle and all players (apart from the Storyteller) vote for which Picture card was the Storyteller's.
The fun of the game is how you earn points. If nobody or everybody votes for the Storyteller's card, the Storyteller gets no points and the others get 2 points. If at least one player votes for the Storyteller's card the Storyteller and the voting players get 3. Non-Storyteller players also get a point for every other player who votes for their Picture card.
The result is a game that's as much about who you are playing as the specific picture cards. When you are the Storyteller you are picking a card and making up a clue to attract certain opponents but not others. You hope to have one other player vote correctly so you get some points, but not everyone because then everyone scores the same. The game ends when the deck is empty or if a player scores 30 points. In either case, the player with the most points wins the game.

8+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Younger players need to be able to come up with their clues for their pictures. They also need to make conceptual leaps to guess other players clues. Often, youngsters are actually really good at giving away just enough information to score well.
