OverviewOverview

Dog World is a running and jumping game where you play a solitary human fighting through a dog-infested world to defeat an evil computer. You perform tricky jumps and battle mutant dogs by sliding, dodging, and shooting. Along the way you gain weapons and abilities to help you explore and progress. As well as the unusual enemies, the game stands out because you view the action, as if, through an old computer monitor.

Dog World is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity lives underground because the earth is believed to be unsafe. You are launched to the surface by an earthquake to find a world that is habitable but overrun with talking dogs. The dogs have mutated into many variations, many of which attack you.

To explore the world you must navigate hazards like spikes, explosives, and lasers. To help you on your way there are a wide range of weapons that can combine with special abilities to extend your jump, damage and other abilities. Some doors in the levels will be locked until you interact with control panels further back in the area. There are powerful bosses which require you to use a combination of sliding and shooting to be defeated.

The quirky style and unusual narrative combine with the exploration create a unique and intriguing action games.
