OverviewOverview

Double Kick Heroes is a heavy metal rhythm game. You tap buttons in time to the music to lead your band through the zombie wasteland. It revolves around the "double kicking" drumming technique. When you get this right you can speed up the music.

You play the different band members: Lincoln, Snake, Derek, Randie and James. Each one is different to play, with different abilities and power. As you play you find out each of their back stories to being in the band.

There are a total of 50 songs (30 in the main story and 20 in hellgate mode) in the game. You can also import your own music on PC, play community designed tracks or even edit your own songs and share challenges.

The higher difficulty the more instruments you have to control and the more buttons you need to press in time. You can customise the difficulty by changing the music speed and removing all enemies.

You can play with motion controls on the Switch, shaking the controllers in time with the beat. You can also add additional Joy-Cons (perhaps strapped to legs) to enable play with up to four rhythm tracks.
