Play OverviewPlay Overview

Ethan Goes to Work (2020) is an action adventure game where Ethan McCormick just wants to get to work and not even invading aliens on his home planet of Waffle can stop him. It's a quirky tale featuring hand-to-hand brawling with a briefcase, a gun that turns people into fruit, a giant baby and it's all voiced in Spanish with English subtitles.

Ethan Goes to Work is an amusing tale of an unassuming office worker faced with an alien invasion. As his planet gets destroyed around him, Ethan presses on because he doesn't want to be late for work. Essentially it's a combat adventure, you start with simple fighting controls to swing a briefcase or roll out of the way of the soldiers and robots, and then acquire the alien fruit gun that turns people into healthy snacks. Make your way to the the big boss who just happens to be a giant baby, and find a way to finally get to work.

The result is ab inventive story with comedic characters and sci-fi movie references that does not take itself too seriously. The fact that it is in Spanish should not put off non-speakers as the voices are fully subtitled. A fun short adventure with an unlikely hero.

Our examiner, Andrea Walney, first checked Ethan Goes to Work (Dreams) 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Andy Robertson and updated 18 months ago.
