OverviewOverview

Evergate is a running and jumping game where you can slow down time to make difficult jumps through hand-drawn environments. It combines the need for timing and puzzle solving in a game that slowly tells the story of the characters you meet.

As you progress and complete challenges, you collect essences that are used to unlock ancient artifacts and boost your abilities. What starts as a simple game about jumping soon has you almost flying through the environments to an orchestral soundtrack tailor-made for each area.

Content Rating

Rated PEGI 7 because it features implied violence against humans, violence that lacks any apparent harm or injury to fantasy or mythical beings and creatures, and pictures or sounds likely to be scary to young children. We witness events from Ki's past as she remembers her past lives. These play out as minimally animated cinematics. In these memories we see depictions of negative events, including an implied attack by crows, a falling bomb, her brother being trapped in a burning building, and her brother's arrest. None of these scenes show any explicit violence, blood or injuries, but they may be distressing to younger children.

Secondary issues/information
One memory includes a scene in which Ki's brother appears to take some pills but the game does not state what the pills are.
