Like Animal Crossing, the crops and farm continue to grow in real-time, even while you're not playing. Also similar is the level of customization with fences, roads, buildings, clothes and decorations. You even have a pet.
As the seasons change in the real world, special events are added to the game. Whether that's a Harvest Festival, Earth Festival or Lucky Harvest, it's a nice way to keep the game fresh.
