Flipper Volcano is a pinball game where you play a ghost trying to escape a volcano with rising lava. It's an unusual take on traditional pinball where the idea is not to score points but rise up through the volcano by passing your ghost up through each section using flippers and bumpers.

You only have one ball in this pinball game, which is your ghost character, and therefore only one life. If you fail to flip the ghost when it gets to the bottom of the level it falls into the lava and you have to start again.

The lava rises up gradually as you play so if you spend too much time on a single section the lava could catch up with you. The levels are procedurally generated so the game is different each time you play. If you manage to escape the volcano you unlock an endless mode. There is also a store which has different ghost characters to unlock, with tokens you win by playing, that have special abilities.

It's a simple game, with simple graphics and only 3 buttons as controls. With only one life however, it can be difficult to progress, and it requires really good reflexes to do well.
