Video GameGun Devil Review

OverviewOverview

Gun Devil is a retro running, jumping and shooting game about traversing hell to rescue your kidnapped wife. Drawing on 90's arcade games like Ghosts and Goblins and Gargoyle's Quest, this is a frantic battle with no moment to rest.

Play involves traversing the levels taking on enemies with your projectile-based "hell gun" to complete each stage and unlock the rewards. As you progress you encounter an army of enemies that stand in your way. You can run and jump but also take flight to strike from above with acrobatic moves and dash attacks.

The result is a game that is equal parts bizarre and skill based. It's an exhilarating rush through waves of enemies and platform levels that requires you to use all your character's abilities to the max.
