Hyenas is a shooting game with a gravitational twist, where you explore a vast spaceship in search of collectables while facing off against opposing teams. You use weapons and abilities to block corridors, create bridges, and generally foil opponents while moving between traditional and zero-gravity spaces. The varied spaceship environments, tactical placement of bridges and barriers and game-changing gravity physics help Hyenas stand out in a crowded genre.

Set in the distant future, where the rich live on Mars and the poor in a giant slum spaceship, old pop-culture artefacts are now worth a fortune. You join a pack of "Hyena" robbers to fight back by pulling off heist missions to steal these artefacts from the rich. At the same time other Hyena teams are doing the same while guards and other security measures stand in your way.

Play focuses on collecting as many artefacts as you can while defeating other teams by shooting them with a variety of ranged weapons. You also have several abilities at your disposal, including a gun which allows you to build walkways and block off corridors, potentially helping you escape from tricky situations or force another team take a different route. Many areas of the game are set in zero gravity, adding a new challenge and allowing for innovative strategic choices.

The result is a game that provides a fresh challenge through its varied environments and character abilities. The real fun is how you can change the play area to your advantage (and of course the gravity defying feats this leads to). Fighting off multiple teams at once as you pull off a daring heist not only gets the blood pumping but requires skill, precision, and good teamwork.
