Each puzzle is double-sided. On one side is an early concept sketch of the work with words of the artist’s story. On the other side is the picture the artist created. You solve the puzzle using both sides to fill in the gaps. Once complete the picture and the story is revealed together.
As you progress you discover a wide range of puzzles for all ages. Hundreds of illustrations in different mediums and genres with stories written by the people who made them. The game includes a collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and features select galleries of his work It's a novel and engaging way to learn about Van Gogh and his artwork.
The result is a calm puzzle game that brings different mediums together. The combination of art, story and puzzle make it a lovely way for players of all ages to discover the joy of gazing at a picture.
4+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Younger players may need some help with the reading element of the game, but can still enjoy the puzzles.
